(A) shows the IL-10 responses in both groups at baseline (BL) and 4 weeks (4 w) after Pam3CSK4 stimulation with and without β-glucan training. (B) shows the absolute TNF-α responses in both groups after Pam3CSK4 stimulation with and without oxLDL training. (C) shows the IL-6 responses in both groups after LPS stimulation with and without oxLDL training. Time points within one group of volunteers were compared with a Mann-Whitney U-test.
