Effect of EWH on catalepsy development in Al-treated rats. The catalepsy analysis was performed before (day 0), in the middle (30 or 21 days) and end of the treatments (60 or 42 days) with AlCl3 for 60 (8.3 mg/kg bw per dayA) or 42 days (100 mg/kg bw per dayB), co-treated or not with EWH. Results are expressed as mean ± SD, n = 8, *P < 0.05 compared with their corresponding controls, #P < 0.05 compared with AlCl3 group (two-way ANOVA and Bonferroni as post-hoc test).
