From: Controllable beam reshaping by mixing square-shaped and hexagonal optical vortex lattices
Experimentally-recorded far-field beam reshaping by varying the node spacing of the square-shaped (row (a)) or of the hexagonal OV lattice (row (b)). In case (a) the hexagonal lattice node spacing is Δhex = 41 pix. and Δ = Δsq/Δhex varies between 0.5 and 3.7. In case (b) Δsq = 21 pix. and Δ varies between 0.5 and 0.17.
