Turning angles. Distribution of the turning angles for oriented Philander frenatus when measured in correspondence of the points identified as turning points in one dimension, combining the angles in the x and y dimension. As can be appreciated, angles sufficiently far from zero are distributed approximately uniformly. The behaviour around zero is produced by the effect of coalescence of small turning angles during the projection operation and by the fact that the recorded changes of direction are always greater than five degrees. Similar results can be obtained for all the considered dataset.
