The red squares indicate the values obtained for both sexes together, the blue squares the values for men and the green squares the values for women. The dotted line indicates the reference value (zero risk alleles), OR = 1. The arrow on the left panel of TCF7L2 gene indicates that the higher limit of the confidence interval is outside the graph (12.5). The letters b, c, d and e indicate the values of p < 0.1, p < 0.05, p < 0.01, p < 0.001, respectively. The points that have no letters had a p > 0.1. The p-values were calculated in the MLR models with the Wald test. The data was taken from the Supplementary Table S8. The power (1-β err prob) >0.95 for all SNPs with a p < 0.1.
