Structural models of the (a) bare Cu, (b) SLG-coated Cu, (c) DLG-coated Cu, and TLG-coated Cu samples. The models conceptually show how stacking SLG on Cu coated with CVD-deposited SLG and DLG layers covers the defects and grain boundaries of the underlying graphene layers.
