From: Metabolic resistance of the D-peptide RD2 developed for direct elimination of amyloid-β oligomers
Cell viability test with HSM-3 and RD2. An MTT cell viability test with HSM-3 and RD2 purified from human liver microsomes as well as the untreated RD2 on rat PC12 cells was performed. Neither 2 µM HSM-3 nor the untreated or the purified RD2 showed any cell toxicity. A cytotoxic concentration of Triton X-100 (0.125%) was used as control.
