Fit of length-scale dependent hydrodynamic drag model (Eq. 1) is presented as a dotted line with shade representing error (calculated using total differential method). ηeff increases from approx. 1.9 viscosities of water for calcein (rp = 0.65 nm), to approx. 12 viscosities of water for nanoparticles (rp > 20 nm).
