Relative probability of selection (P) of tall canopy areas by spotted owls (dashed line) and barred owls (solid line) in the breeding and nonbreeding seasons in western Oregon, USA. Predictions were generated across the 5th to 95th percentile range of observed canopy cover (CANCOV) and relative density of lidar point cloud from 4–8 m (D4to8) while holding dominant canopy height at the 95th percentile value (17.3 m) and all other covariates at their mean.
