  1. For corneal endothelial cell culture (serial number 1 to 19), donor age ranged from 2 year old to 36 year old with a median age of 19 year old. Days taken from death of donor to the initiation of corneal endothelial cell culture ranged from 5 days to 15 days with a median of 9 days. Serial numbers 1 to 18 were paired donor corneas, whereas serial number 19 was a single donor cornea. For the generation of tissue-engineered grafts (serial number 20 to 24), donor age ranged from 53 year old to 69 year old.
