Representative Raman spectra acquired from surface of pristine and oxidized metallic glass powder particles. Surface of pristine powder particles is clean, devoid of detectable oxides. Oxidation at 580 °C and 650 °C results primarily in formation of Fe2O3 which grows as a uniform shell over the surface of the particles.
