Post-stroke functional deficit is less in IL-37tg mice. Measures of post-stroke mobility, namely total distance travelled in 5 min (A,B) and maximum speed attained (C,D), were obtained 24 h after sham surgery (A,C; n = 8 for each group) or after stroke surgery (B,D; n = 37 for IL-37tg and n = 33 for WT). Data are shown as mean ± S.E.M; *P < 0.05, unpaired Student’s t-test.
