Incorporation of MCF-7 and MDA-MB-468 cells into chimeric organoids. (a,b) Immunofluorescence staining of 5 µm cross-sections of bioprinted chimeras with anti-GFP antibodies (green) reveals incorporation of MCF-7 (a) and MDA-MB-468 (b) cells. MCF-7 cells appeared in clusters contributing to luminal formation while MDA-MB-468 cells remained as single cells and were not observed lining the luminal layer. Sections are counterstained with DAPI (blue). All samples were analyzed 21 days post-print. Scale bars = 50 µm.
