Survival curves to UV-B (312 nm) radiation. P. syringae strains were exposed as 5 × 106 cells/ml suspensions, and E. coli as 5 × 107 cells/ml. P. syringae pv. syringae 281 and P. syringae pv. garcae 158 are shown to tolerate much larger UV-B fluences than E. coli, while 158 presented the highest resistance.
