From: The Epstein-Barr Virus Oncoprotein, LMP1, Regulates the Function of SENP2, a SUMO-protease

LMP1 induced the sumoylation of SENP2 at K48 and K447. HEK 293 cells were transfected as indicated. 48 hours post-transfection, cells were collected and denaturing immunoprecipitations were performed to pull-down all proteins covalently modified by myc-SUMO1. Western blot analyses were done to detect SENP2 (GFP), LMP1, and myc-SUMO1 levels.
