In the RUPP model (A), silver clips of approximately 100 µm internal planar gap were placed on the ovarian arteries and a silver clip of approximately 230 µm internal planar gap was placed on the abdominal aorta. In the sRUPP model (B), silver clips of approximately 100 µm internal planar gap were placed on the ovarian and uterine arteries. During Sham procedures, silver clips were placed on abdominal fat and comparative manipulations were made of the arteries.
