Chondroitin sulfate (CS) was the main constituent of total GAGs in the urine of non-MPS controls, accounting for 94% (±3%). The percentages (%) of CS in the patients with MPS were reduced due to the increased percentages of DS, HS, or KS according to the type of MPS; however, the quantities of CS did not change significantly.
