Chemotactic assay. The chemotactic behaviour of flies upon exposure to different test samples in the morning (males, a; females, b) and evening (males, c; females, d) are indicated as their Relative Response Index (RRI). The error bars are standard error around the mean (SEM) and the statistically significant differences are indicated by asterisks. The statistical analysis was done by Kruskal-Wallis ANOVA followed by multiple comparisons of mean ranks of all groups.
