From: Increased frequency of activated CD8+ T cell effectors in patients with psoriatic arthritis

Expansion of IL-17+ and contraction of IFNγ+ cells in circulating memory T cells from patients with PsA. PBMCs isolated from PsA and PsO patients or from control subjects were stimulated with αCD3αCD28-coated beads. Cells were then evaluated for expression of IFNγ/IL-17 in CD45RA− gated cells or CD45RA−CCR7− TEM, CD4+ (B) and CD8+ T cells (C). Difference in the percentage of cytokine producing cells in the three groups was analyzed by Mann-Whitney test. p values < 0.05 were considered significant: *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001.
