In our study, this requires a bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops aduncus) positioned perpendicular to the camera, displaying both the blowhole and anterior origin of dorsal fin landmarks (the yellow line joins the two). Both laser dots are visible, with the inset image providing an enlarged view of the two laser dots positioned 10 cm apart.
