Generation of N00N states in a cavity QED system consisting of a qubit and two cavities: M, mirrors; BS, 50:50 beam splitter. Quantum states \(|0\rangle \) and \(|N\rangle \) enter the system through the two input ports. The output, produced at \(\kappa t=\pi /4\), is transmitted through a 50:50 beam splitter and an Hadamard gate and is detected with a measuring device to yield a N00N state.
