Relative amounts of acetic acid released from a homemade lure. One hundred microliters of a solution of acetic acid in hexane (0.01 mg/ml) were loaded on an ethylene-propylene side-by-side device. After solvent evaporation (5 min), headspace volatiles were captured for 1 min with HiSorb and analyzed by TD-GC/MS with single-ion monitor (m/z 61). n = 3.
