Apoptosis of dy^3K/dy^3K muscle fibres. Cell death was determined by caspase-3 immunostaining (red). Wheat germ agglutinin (WGA, in green) was used to visualise muscle fibres. Only E18.5 muscles do not display apoptotic myofibres. Calf and thigh muscles were used. Scale bar: 30 µm.
