From: Acetic acid: a cost-effective agent for mitigation of seawater-induced salt toxicity in mung bean

Effects of foliar-applied acetic acid on the contents of (a) chlorophyll (Chl) a, (b) Chl b, (c) total Chls, and (d) carotenoids in leaves of mung bean plants subjected to 0, 8 or 16 dS m−1 saline level for 14 days. Values (means ± SEs) of each treatment were attained from three biological replications (n = 3). Different alphabetical letters above the bars show statistically significant differences (P < 0.05) among the treatments, following a least significant difference test. AA, acetic acid; FW, fresh weight.
