Representatives of α-l-fucopyranosyl compounds with a higher potency than α-Me-Fuc and their influence on hemagglutination of RBC O caused by PHL. Two-fold serially diluted carbohydrate compounds 1, 5–10 were able to inhibit hemagglutination at the minimal concentrations highlighted in yellow. The hemagglutination of RBC O caused by PHL without an inhibitor is shown in the picture in the upper right corner.
