Definition of axial length and transverse length on MRI. (A) On the sagittal multi-planar reconstructed plane, the axial plane was defined as the horizontal plane connecting between the top of the cornea and the optic disk. (B) On the axial/horizontal plane, the axial length (red line) was defined as the distance between the top of the cornea and the rear part of retina (approximately in the foveal region) in the vertical direction tangential to the corneal curve. The maximum distance orthogonal to the eye axis was defined as the transverse length (green line).
