^aNormalized Shannon’s entropy (defined as 1-Pielou’s Evenness) is the index that measures the repertoire distribution. Values approaching 0 indicate a very skewed distribution of frequencies (i.e. more variation in abundance) and values approaching 1 indicate that every rearrangement is present at nearly identical frequency (i.e. less variation in abundance).
