(a) Continuous wave spectrum obtained when no filter and SA was used. The inset shows the same spectrum but on a logarithmic scale. By using the same configuration, we can tune the spectrum by using a tunable filter. (b) Spectrum when 4.97 nm is used whereas (c) was obtained when 1.14 nm was used. In this experiment we have only investigated 1522, 1533, 1543 and 1552 nm as examples, but other wavelengths could also be used.
