From: Resveratrol inhibits IL-33–mediated mast cell activation by targeting the MK2/3–PI3K/Akt axis

Mechanisms of the suppressive effect of resveratrol on IL-33– and IgE–mediated activation of mast cells. Resveratrol inhibits MK2, which plays important roles in mast cell activation induced by IgE–antigen and IL-33. Resveratrol also suppresses IgE–triggered phosphorylation of Syk slightly, which contributes to a greater potency of resveratrol for the inhibition of IgE–mediated activation of BMMCs.
