The first (a–c) and second row (d–f) represents MODIS-Terra and Aqua DB DT combined total AOD at 550 nm, overlaid by Era-Interim and NCEP reanalysis 10 m wind fields respectively. The third row (g–i) shows MERRA2 total AOD (550 nm) and its 10 m wind fields. And last row (j–L) corresponds to OMI-Aura total AOD at 500 nm superimposed by ASCAT METOP-A surface wind vectors.
