Subcutaneous growth of LLC and CMT 167 tumors in WT versus Cav-2 KO mice. (A and B) Graphical representation of LLC and CMT 167 tumor growth, respectively. LLC and CMT 167 cells were s.c. implanted into two flanks (106/flank) of WT and Cav-2 KO mice. Tumor width and length were determined using a caliper, tumor volumes calculated according to the formula: Volume = 0.52 × (width)2 × (length). (C and D) Representative photographs of LLC and CMT 167 tumors extracted on day 17 of the experiment. (E,F) LLC and CMT 167 tumors extracted on day 17 (shown in C and D) were weighted and the average tumor mass ± SEM was calculated.
