The late-phase response induced by T. nattereri venom is characterized by leukocytes influx. After 48 h of intraperitoneal challenge, the influx of eosinophils to exudates of peritoneal cavities of BALB/c sensitized-mice was phenotypically monitored by flow cytometry based on CCR3 membrane expression and morphologically by H&E staining (A). The differential cell count (B) and the levels of cytokines in exudates of peritoneal cavities (C) were also evaluated. The results represent the mean ± SEM of 5 animals/group. *p < 0.05 compared with control-group.
