Technical steps in the placement of a pBTS. (a) The pBTS with a 5 Fr dilator is inserted into the cut pancreatic duct and (b) sutured to the jejunal mucosa to prevent migration. (c) The remaining distal portion of the pBTS is inserted into the jejunal loop. (d) A pancreatic duct-to-jejunal mucosa anastomosis is successfully performed after pBTS placement.
