From: Free log-likelihood as an unbiased metric for coherent diffraction imaging

Scatter plot of log-likelihood (black) and free log-likelihood (red) vs the number of points in the support, obtained by generating 1000 solutions with random starting objects and different parameters. While the overall log-likelihood decreases with the number of points in the final support, the free log-likelihood points to an optimal support size around 4300 points. Note that a different, random set of‘free’ pixels was used for each solution.
