Chrysin downregulates the expression of TNF-α, IL-17A, and IL-22-induced genes at the mRNA level. After pre-treatment with chrysin, NHEK were stimulated with TNF-α (A), IL-17A (B), and IL-22 (C), and RT-qPCR was used to detect the effects of chrysin on the mRNA expression of CCL20, S100A7, S100A8, S100A9, hBD2, and LL-37. Data are expressed as fold induction of relevant mRNA sequences compared to untreated controls. Data represent mean ± SEM from at least three independent experiments performed in triplicates; *p < 0.05 was considered to be statistically significant.
