Time-of-flight measurement of the jet velocity from the ultrafast camera for two capillary diameters (150 µm and 300 µm). Jet velocity is a linear function of the pulse energy (Linear fit: v150 = 0.71.E + 36, v300 = 0.23.E + 40). Jet power follows a cubic relation to laser energy (Cubic fit: P150 ≈ 3.10−8.E3, P300 ≈ 4.10−9.E3). Error bars represent standard deviation from at least 5 velocity measurements of different jets initiated by the same laser energy.
