From: Preclinical immunotherapy with Cytokine-Induced Killer lymphocytes against epithelial ovarian cancer
Patient-derived CIK effectively kill ovarian cancer cells. CIK lymphocytes efficiently killed in vitro ovarian cancer targets, including 6 cell lines generated from metastatic ascites post failure of platinum chemotherapy. CIK were autologous in 6/13 experiments. Tumor killing was assessed by CellTiter-Glo Luminescent Cell Viability Assay following 72 hour co-culture of mature CIK with ovarian targets. Symbols represent the average mortality for each pdOVC (n = 3 for each target), red dash represents mean values of tumor-specific killing for each E/T ratio.
