Visible increase in glutamine (Gln) in BDL rat compared to sham animal is highlighted in dark grey and the decrease in myo-Inositol (Ins) is highlighted in light grey. alanine (Ala), ascorbate (Asc), aspartate (Asp), glycerophosphocholine (GPC), phosphocholine (PCho), creatine (Cr), phosphocreatine (PCr), γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA), glucose (Glc), glutamate (Glu), glutathione (GSH), lactate (Lac), N-acetylaspartate (NAA), N-acetylaspartylglutamate (NAAG), phosphoethanolamine (PE) and taurine (Tau).
