Emergent threshold distribution measured from the microscopic network simulations and the analytical approximation. For the network simulations only those points where the system is close to equilibrium, i.e. \(t\in \{0,{t}_{max}-1\}\), are shown. For all shown choices of threshold fractions \(\rho \), the approximation matches well with the network simulations.
