From: Increased likelihood of heat-induced large wildfires in the Mediterranean Basin
Current and multi-model median changes in summer frequency of fire weather types (FWTs) in the Mediterranean Basin. Changes in frequency at the end of the century (2071–2100) are shown relative to the present period (1985–2015) for two emission scenarios (RCP4.5 and RCP8.5). The dots indicate grid cells where the change was statistically significant (p < 0.05) in a majority of the models. The maps were produced in R v3.6.3 (www.r-project.org).
