From: The human papillomavirus E6 protein targets apoptosis-inducing factor (AIF) for degradation
Proteasomal degradation of AIF induced by E6. 293TT cells co-transfected with pAIF-HA and p16E6 (a) or p6E6 (b) by using PEI. After 24Â h, the cell lysate was immunoblotted with anti-HA-tag and anti-SBP antibodies. pGFP-SBP was used as a transfection internal control. In some samples, cells were treated with MG132 12Â h prior to cell harvest. Five independent experiments were performed and one of them is shown. Numbers on the left are molecular masses (in kDa).
