From: Interplay between \(k\)-core and community structure in complex networks
Performances of different shuffling methods in terms of four indicators. We report the fraction of data sets for which a given combination of the shuffling method and the community detection method yields an indicator’s value closest to that for the original network. Each bar refers to an indicator, i.e., average \(k\)-shell’s difference, \(\Delta \langle k_\text {s} \rangle\), degeneracy’s difference, \(\Delta D\), Jaccard score, J, and Kendall’s tau, \(\tau _K\).
