  1. Different concentrations of the whirlin fragments were injected as analytes in a randomized order on the different peptides (immobilized as ligands). Kd values were determined for each analyte-ligand interaction. They are indicated in the table as mean ± s.d. of three different experiments. The raw data corresponding to the interaction of the different whirlin constructs with PCDH15 and CDH23 C-terminal peptides are shown in Figs. S6, S7 and S8.
