Rows correspond to species IDs (see Table 1 or Supplementary Table S6), columns correspond to each sampling site and season. Bar colors refer to number of reads (normalized), with lighter colors indicating higher values (white represents absence). Cluster plot uses Ward's Hierarchical clustering method; sites with similar taxonomic composition cluster together. Color codes follow Fig. 4 (PCoA).
