Examination of artifacts in EEG signal during different behaviors. Representative EEG traces recorded during the following activities of four subjects in male–female social interaction test: scratching ear, self-grooming, dragging the device against the cage and sniffing a female, which involved vigorous motion that was prone to cause motion artifacts. Only one instance of artifact was seen, marked by the red asterisk.
