The correlation line equation and the coefficient of determination were: Y = 0.014 X + 1.154, R2 = 0.427. (b) The scatter plot of the SUVmax of the parietal bone versus duration of bisphosphonate administration for all diseases, after excluding four patients with bone metastasis treated with intravenous bisphosphonate, showed a positive correlation between the two variates (rs = 0.62, P = 0.0009). The correlation line equation and the coefficient of determination were: Y = 0.0152 X + 1.150, R2 = 0.459.
