The influence of the geometrical parameters on the optical performance, (a) gap distance of the strips G (nm), and (b) radius of the sphere R (nm). The periodicity of 240 nm is maintained in both cases. The graphene-coated spheres are hollow and the relative permittivity of the substrate is 2. The initial geometrical parameters are W = 220 nm, G = 20 nm, R = 100 nm, d = 100 nm, and h = 1900 nm.
