From: Oxidative stress markers in patient-derived non-cancerous cervical tissues and cells
ROS levels in primary keratinocytes isolated from TZ specimens are variable within a range of about ten-fold between patients. 2.5 × 106 primary cells were homogenized and assessed for ROS levels using the OxiSelect In Vitro ROS/RNS assay kit (Cell BioLabs) according to the manufacturer’s protocol. Protein concentrations were measured with the Coomassie Plus Assay Reagent (Thermo Scientific) and used for normalization. ROS levels are represented as relative fluorescence units (RFU)/µg protein. All measurements were performed in triplicate, and error bars represent the standard deviation.
