  1. The individual (Indiv) was included as a random factor. We present the most parsimonious selected models with ΔAIC < 2. K total number of parameters (explanatory terms + random term + residual deviance), AIC corrected Akaike Information Criterion, ΔAIC difference between the AIC value for that model and the best model, W Akaike weights. Biological traits included: age (Age), territorial status (Territ), breeding season (Br_S), and sex (Sex). Environmental variables were topographic altitude, surface solar radiation, and total precipitation, but none was selected for the final models.
