From: TRPM2 promotes autophagic degradation in vascular smooth muscle cells
Subcellular co-localization of TRPM2 and lysosome marker Lamp-1 in mASMCs. The cells were immunostained with fluorescence-labeled anti-TRPM2 (Green) and anti-Lamp-1 (red). Red fluorescence represented lysosomes (Lamp-1 positive). TRPM2 expression was found in WT mASMCs, but not in TRPM2 KO mASMCs. n = 3 experiments, 20–30 cells in each experiment.
